O Memorial da Igreja de St James — Castle Bytham

No coração da vila, seis nomes gravados em pedra Clipsham recordam os homens que partiram e não voltaram.
Erguido em 1948, o memorial é mais do que um monumento é um ponto de encontro entre gerações, onde o respeito floresce.

O Acidente Aéreo em Morkery Wood (1942)

Em 19 de novembro de 1942, um bombardeiro Halifax da RAF caiu perto de Stocken Hall Farm, após uma missão sobre Turim.
Metade da tripulação era canadiana. A floresta guardou os destroços e a memória e hoje, cada trilho é também homenagem.

On 19 November 1942, a Halifax bomber from the RAF crashed near Stocken Hall Farm after a raid over Turin.
Half the crew were Canadian. The forest held the wreckage and the memory and today, every trail is also a tribute.
